General Reservation Information
Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card (sorry not VISA debit) when you book. The first night of your stay plus tax (16%) will be charged at the time of reservation. The remainder is due upon arrival.

All guests must be 18+ years of age (and credit card holders) to book a room.
We are located in a lively part of town, with an on-site pub and liquor store. We cannot guarantee total quiet during your stay. Our pub has weekly live music events, and enthusiastic patrons. If noise is a problem, please mention it when you are booking and we will attempt to accommodate your needs.
For security reasons please provide a valid government issued ID at the time of check in. The MAQ Hotel is a smoke and vape free environment. Violators of this policy will be charged a smoking/vaping fee of $350/room.
Cancellation Policy
In order to guarantee a reservation we require a deposit of the first night’s fees plus tax at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon check in. Any cancellation, or modification of your reservation will result in a $30CAD fee up to 14 days prior to your check in date. Cancellations or modifications 14 days or less are subject to forfeiture of the deposit. If you depart prior to your check out date, a fee equivalent to 50% of the remaining nights will be charged to your credit card.

Pet Policy
The MAQ Hotel is Dog-Friendly! Feel free to bring your furry family members along on vacation. Make sure to let us know ahead of time and we’ll have a doggy care package waiting for you in your room (with towel, bowls, doggy-bags and some treats).
- Dogs only
- One dog maximum per unit
- Leashes are required at all times while in the hotel
- Dog guest fee $50/night
- Charges will be applied to your credit card on file for any excessive cleaning required after your stay and any damage caused by your dog
- Please mention your dog when making an inquiry or reservation
- Please do not leave your dog unattended in rooms for extended periods of time, we can connect you with a dog walking/sitting service here in town if you are planning on whale watching or going for a surf lesson, etc.
- The MAQ Hotel reserves the right to refuse any dog access to the property
- Additional charges will be applied to unregistered dogs
- Please respect your neighbours
